Steve Coyle
Steven joined Cartwright Pickard Architects in 1997 and worked on a £120 million masterplan and headquarters office development in Newcastle and Sunderland for the DSS and Inland Revenue. The project consisted of nine office blocks together with ancillary buildings including restaurants, crèches and a sports hall.
Steven has designed a 350-bedroom development of student accommodation for the University of Brighton at Eastbourne, which successfully gained planning in a contentious conservation area. He has also designed the Living Bridge, an award winning conceptual project for the Peabody Trust.
Currently Steven is working on a 211 market sale apartment building in Reading.
Prior to joining Cartwright Pickard Architects Steven spent five years working in the London office of Building Design Partnership. Projects completed included the renovation and conversion of the National Maritime Museum Greenwich which is a Grade 1 listed building. He also worked on office building headquarters for Adam Opal (General Motors) Russelsheim, Germany. Between 2002 and 2005 Steven worked at Denton Corker Marshall on the £100 million Civil Justice Centre, Manchester.
