The concept for this exemplar design is to provide a highly flexible and stimulating learning environment for the engagement of all areas of the school community, including teachers and support staff, managers, pupils and the wider community.
The designs have been developed principally for secondary education facilities, both complete schools and building extensions. Elements of the designs can also be applied to primary school environments.
The approach uses clusters of teaching accommodation radiating from a central core which houses staff accommodation and larger spaces such as the library resource centre, hall and dining areas.
We have produced bespoke designs for several education authority projects which are currently under consideration.
