New Office Project Complete - Prince' Street, Doncaster

Prince’s Street is a new office building in Doncaster that will help boost commercial confidence in the town and acts as a catalyst to inspire further building initiatives for the surrounding area.

Built on the prominent corner of a brown-field site in the centre of the South Yorkshire town, the innovative design features an eye-catching vertical corner using translucent low energy glass to mirror the spire of the Christ Church opposite, as well as an external terrace and a decorative load -bearing brick façade based on a Flemish bond variation. Using the compact space of this five storey 25,000sqft development efficiently, the office block sits on top of a basement car park, providing ten car parking spaces, with bin storage, plant rooms, and cycle storage. Due to the quality of the design and the strong environmental strategy focused around the reduction of solar gain to the office, this regeneration project has recently been awarded a ‘Very Good’ rating by a BREEAM assessment. The building is to be occupied on a multi-tenancy basis.
