This building was required to provide a powerful image and identity and to create a new focus to the existing university campus.
Our competition winning design wraps around an existing 1960's faculty building that requires extensive refurbishment and repairs.
Our proposals use a three dimensional Semi-Monocoque grid shell and have a tubular cross section that can be easily extruded to create an extremely lightweight and efficient structure that is able to span between its four supporting service cores.
