LMU Moorgate building
Refurbishment of the basement of an existing Grade 2 listed building to create a cafe and group learning environment. Additional refurbishment of fifth floor postgraduate business school to create professional teaching rooms and breakout spaces.
Cartwright Pickard were commissioned by Mace to update four outdated London Metropolitan University facilities; improving internal environments by upgrading fixtures, finishes and furnishings and renewing M&E services and lighting.
Spatial analysis was undertaken to identify under-utilised areas that could be re-purposed. Adaptability of space is key to the designs, ensuring that the work spaces are easily modifiable to future generations’ learning needs.
