Creative Industries Quarter
The design for the Creative Industries Quarter establishes a new urban identity for an area south west of Barking town centre. The 1.1 hectare scheme for the redevelopment of a former industrial site is over four blocks and includes 272 units of residential housing, commercial/office, retail and creative industries uses, new public amenity spaces and a riverside walk delivered across two phases.
The proposals will create a vibrant and unique place to live and work for the residents and tenants as well as providing a creative hub and destination for visitors and the local community.
