In collaboration with our sister company Consarc, our approach to interior design creates buildings that work inside and out

Can architecture ever be truly successful unless it is in harmony with its interior? Users connect with buildings from the inside, touching and living with the building’s functions. We are passionate about designing spaces that respect and relate meaningfully to their architectural layout, whilst providing joy, personality and longevity.

Many of our architects have significant interior design experience. We embed them into a project's team from the initial stages to provide our clients with integrated designs that harmonise interior with exterior.

Working from shared space within our London studio, Cartwright Pickard and Consarc's team can ensure you are using your internal space most efficiently, provide expert advice on fit-out options and help to create a unique internal identity for your project.

We are also experienced at sensitively giving heritage buildings a new lease of life. Working closely with Historic England and local planning authorities, we can work with you to protect and restore a building's heritage features while making it fit for the 21st century through the subtle integration of new technologies and services.

"We have collaborated with great teams to deliver a building that has had a huge impact on how we work, our client’s perception of us, the culture within the building, and how we interact both socially and with our neighbours. It’s quite amazing that a building can have such an impact in such a short space of time"
