Located on the corner of Myrtle and Mulberry Street, the design takes reference from the local historic context. 

The material selection, the building proportions and window arrangements reflect the Georgian character of Falkner Street and Agnes Jones House, while the warm tones, entrances and facade detailing are derived from the grandeur of the nearby Liverpool Philharmonic. 

Students are offered a choice of accommodation, from 4–6-bedroom clusters around common rooms, to self-contained studios.

They will also have access to generous shared amenity, such as bookable guest rooms, lounges, and study areas that bring people together. 

With a target of BREEAM Excellent, Myrtle Street seeks to regenerate a disused city centre site and shape a place where students in the city’s three universities can live, learn, make friends, and start their lives in an inspiring and supportive environment
