2017's architectural study trip took us to Lisbon on a scorching weekend by the Tagus estuary. We visited a varying array of different buildings including a state-of-the-art facility for a science and medical institution designed by Charles Correa, the Amanda Levete Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology which sits on the riverside and the landmark Pavilion of Portugal.
Since the turn of the millennium, the city and its immediate surroundings have seen a flurry of projects designed by both Danish and top international architects.
