On Saturday 23rd June, two teams battled it out in a Race Across the Pennines covering 25 miles each from our Leeds and Manchester studios to Hebden Bridge. Our chosen charities were Martin House Hospice for the Leeds studio and Wood Street Mission for the Manchester studio. In total we raised over £1,200 for these fantastic causes!
Martin House provides free care and support to families in which there is a child or young person with a short life expectancy throughout Yorkshire, both at their hospice and in the community.
Wood Street Mission is a Manchester children's charity which helps children and families living in poverty in Manchester & Salford. They provide practical help to help meet children’s day-to-day needs and improve their life chances as more than 1 in 3 children in Manchester are living in poverty.
