Green Light for 100 Avenue Road in Swiss Cottage, Delivering 237 New Homes

Cartwright Pickard, in partnership with Regal, has granted planning approval for the revitalised 100 Avenue Road scheme in Swiss Cottage by Camden Council. This significant decision, made at a recent planning committee meeting, paves the way for the creation of 237 new homes, including 70 vital affordable homes.

This approval represents the culmination of an extensive design process focused on sensitive integration and enhanced sustainability. The approved plans retain the height and massing of an extant planning permission and incorporate substantial design improvements. The design proposals feature high-quality brickwork, characterised by curved corners and balconies that complement the Art Deco building adjacent and the architecture of the Swiss Cottage Library. Additionally, the energy efficiency of the design has been significantly enhanced to meet current best practices.

The scheme delivers significant public realm and landscaping enhancements, including multifunctional green spaces, dedicated play areas, and a new community facility in partnership with local youth charity The Winch.
