MU4 will deliver 10,625sqm of premium Grade A office space and 705sqm of commercial space for client Vastint. Located on a prominent corner just south of Leeds city centre, MU4 is designed to be a striking addition to the city’s skyline. The building aims to create a strong connection between Aire Park and the city itself, acting as a gateway to the new masterplan. The architectural design celebrates the building from all sides, ensuring active frontages along the streetscape and the new public realm at the Tetley Triangle - encompassing the famous Tetley Brewery.
MU4 is not only designed to make a visual impact, but it’s also an example of modern, sustainable construction practices. The building’s structure and envelope are being manufactured off-site, a technique that enhances thermal performance, reduces construction waste, and lowers project costs. This sustainable approach extends to the building’s facade, which features etched pre-cast concrete fins. These fins reflect the hierarchy of the building's elevations and complement the surrounding architectural context.
MU4 offers a work environment designed to promote occupant wellbeing and flexibility. Every office floor has full perimeter access to natural daylight and fresh air, creating a bright, open atmosphere that enhances productivity. Ground floor amenities and ample cycle provisions further support a healthy and sustainable work-life balance for future occupants.
Additionally, the rooftop terrace on the seventh floor will provide an outdoor retreat, offering stunning views of Aire Park and the city.
