Plans for next generation pioneering workspace at NOMA get the green light

Manchester City Council has granted planning permission for two pioneering office buildings at the heart of the NOMA estate. 2 and 3 Angel Square will jointly create around 440,000 sqft of Grade A office space, setting a new benchmark for sustainability, wellbeing, smart connectivity and flexible use of amenity spaces.

Designed to connect with the public realm around Manchester's NOMA estate, and to encourage collaboration and interaction, the new buildings are targeting net zero operational energy and embodied carbon, in line with the 2025 RIBA Climate Challenge targets. The project is also designed to achieve BREEAM Outstanding and a five star NABERS rating.
