Springfield House in Leeds recieved planning consent from Leeds City Council for the development of a 334-bed purpose built student accommodation scheme for McLaren Property.

The development transforms a Grade II listed former 18th century mansion house turned research facility.

Accommodation comprises a mix of 194 cluster flat bedrooms and 140 studio flats for the local student population, expressed in two new wings either side of Springfield House which will serve as centrepiece, housing extensive amenities and surrounded by a collegiate-style forecourt.

Blending heritage and modernity, the project will part restore and celebrate the building's architectural significance to enrich the student environment.
