Luke Petty

Project Director

Luke joined Cartwright Pickard in 2017, having worked previously at Chapman Taylor and Walker Simpson Architects.

Since joining the practice he has proved to be highly capable leading projects across a multitude of sectors. He led the contractor engagement on AMRC, our state of the art research facility for the University of Sheffield, and is the lead architect on a new 655 home development in Leeds.

Luke has a particular interest and expertise in modern methods of construction, particularly design for offsite manufacture, and in 2015 he contributed design proposals for the NLA’s Housing Innovation study.

While student at the University of Manchester, Luke’s work was shortlisted for the 2007 RIBA President’s Medal, and he proudly acts as a mentor to our Architectural Assistants studying for their RIBA Part III qualification.
