Ross originally joined the Leeds office in 2001 and was project architect for a number of large residential new build and conservation projects.
Ross rejoined the practice in 2012 to establish a new Manchester office and is currently Associate Director for a number of cutting edge commerical and public sector office schemes including Allied London’s recently completed £30m XYZ Building in Spinningfields, a competition winning scheme for Argent at Manchester Airport City and he recently secured planning permission for Manchester Good’s Yard, a 475,000 sqft mixed-use development that will combine retail, leisure and office space with live/work duplex apartments.
With specialist skills in brief development, architectural design, feasibility studies, stakeholder engagement and fast track procurement, Ross has led the practices involvement in a number of substantial private sale and PRS development bids in the north west, including currently leading on Smithfield, Stoke-on-Trent, the first build-to-rent development in Stoke for Genr8 which will create 277 studio, one and two-bedroom PRS apartments.
Before rejoining the practice, Ross worked at senior architect and associate level at respected international architecture practices leading a number of complex higher educational projects including the delivery of a higher education campus for a north west further education establishment. He has been heavily involved in stakeholder engagement and as part of these schemes.
