We created a full procurement and delivery mechanism for flood resistant communities, including all of the required research, engineering and feasibility studies to ensure that the structures meet the needs of the UK’s housing market and industry standards.

Taking the lead from other European countries, the UK is now starting to adopt a flood risk approach moving from defending to managing flood risk. The flood problem is being compounded by rising sea levels coupled with the demand for several hundred thousand new homes needed in the UK.

A new sustainable approach and some innovative thinking is required when dealing with the development of floodplain land, the traditional solution of land filling is very costly and results in increased flood risk to adjacent areas by taking away functioning flood plain.
