This masterplan proposal created 900 new homes with a mix of social rent, shared ownership and market sale apartments, a new public square and several high quality urban squares.

The redevelopment was designed to provide a significant stimulus towards the revitalisation of the adjoining West Ealing shopping area.
Consultation with the local community helped to refine the aspirations of our masterplan proposals around the aims of bringing clarity and hierarchy to the public realm, improving connections across the area while clearly defining public from private space and providing a variety of high quality housing types.
The grading of public space from traffic calmed roads, through pedestrian boulevards to peaceful courtyards within the blocks were designed to recall European typologies.
