Vacant since the 1960s, all external walls, openings and floor levels were retained and restored, with concrete floors cast in the Engine House and suspended floors incorporated into the Dye Works building. Steelwork was added to create mezzanine levels and stairs. The new build apartment building provides a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and live/work units. Modular construction techniques were used for the high quality bathroom pods.
