Our proposals sensitively retain as much of the fabric of this local heritage asset as possible, reinstating the pub on the site and creating a new restaurant and commercial space with 20,000 sqft of high-quality flexible workspace above.

The aim was to integrate the Crown seamlessly both at a historic and modern level within the fabric of Leeds’s architecture and that of the adjacent new Aire Park.

The project will restore the former elegance of the Crown whilst introducing considered architectural interventions which complement the existing built form, transforming it into a key destination and landmark for the south of Leeds.

With active frontages to the new city park, the building will sit seamlessly within the Tetley masterplan and encourage connectivity with the park.
