The practice is delighted for our redevelopment of Ivor House to have featured in Historic England's new 'Heritage Works for Housing' guide, providing practical advice on converting historic buildings into much-needed homes while preserving their unique character. From planning considerations to sensitive design solutions, the guide is a must-read for architects, developers, and planners alike.
Our contribution showcases Ivor House in Brixton - a former department store reimagined, in partnership with Muse, into 26 high quality residential apartments with ground-floor commercial units. It's a prime example of how historic buildings can be adapted for modern living and contribute to housing supply all while retaining and celebrating their architectural heritage.
