The 2016 Wembley Park Masterplan site covers land surrounding Wembley Stadium and includes the completion of a new commercial district to the west of the Stadium along Wembley Park Boulevard.
Our plans for W06, which are now on site, comprise two separate buildings fronting Wembley Park Boulevard - one residential and one commercial - and includes the detailed design of a public open space at ground level between the two.
The residential building will create 150 apartments for rent, comprising 78% PRS and 22% affordable housing across 11 storeys. Communal open space is provided at podium level and roof level overlooking the iconic Wembley Stadium.
The office building will create around 110,000 ft² of flexible commercial office space across eight floors. A local housing association, Network Homes, has secured a pre-letting agreement for around 50,000 ft² of the office space and have been closely involved in the development of the design and specification of the building. The scheme also includes retail space and secure cycle parking, ensuring this new commercial quarter becomes and vibrant and sustainable new destination.
Creating a strong sense of place
A sense of arrival and address is of critical importance to successful PRS developments and at Wembley Park the PRS apartments are accessed through a dramatic double-height atrium. Prominent from the Boulevard to the north, the entrance frontage is defined by a canopy with creative use of lighting, paving, branding, colour and materials.
